Personal or commercial use: which plan do I need?
Every HueInk plan uses the same app and the same hand-lettered style. What changes is where you are allowed to post what you make.
Personal use — Free, Creator, or the Personal licence
For your own personal social media accounts.
- Post on your own personal Instagram (and other personal accounts).
- No business or brand accounts.
- No sponsored or paid posts.
- No use in ads.
Commercial use — Pro, or the Commercial licence
Everything in personal use, plus:
- Your own business or brand account.
- Monetized creator accounts.
- Sponsored and paid posts.
- Use in your own ads and marketing.
Work for clients — Studio, or the Agency add-on
Everything in commercial use, plus:
- Make posts for clients and other people's businesses, and sell them.
Quick check
| You want to… | Plan (or one-time licence) |
|---|---|
| Post quotes on your personal account for fun | Free or Creator (Personal) |
| Post on your café's, shop's or brand's account | Pro (Commercial) |
| Get paid by a brand for a post, or earn from your account | Pro (Commercial) |
| Use a post in an ad for your own business | Pro (Commercial) |
| Make posts for clients or for other people's businesses | Studio (Agency add-on) |
Tip: not sure yet? Start with Free or Creator. You can move to Pro when your account starts earning. If you bought a one-time licence, write to support to upgrade from Personal to Commercial: you pay only the difference.
Several profiles
- Free, Creator and the one-time licences include one Instagram profile.
- Pro includes 3 profiles and Studio 25.
- With a one-time licence, more profiles come with the Multi-Profile Studio add-on (up to 10), and the Agency add-on includes up to 25.
