HueInk Fair Use Policy

This policy is part of the HueInk Terms of Service. It explains what "unlimited" means in HueInk and the daily limits that keep the service fast and affordable for everyone.

1. What is unlimited

With an active paid plan (Creator, Pro or Studio) or a one-time licence (Personal or Commercial) you can, without any limit on number:

• create, edit, save and delete posts;
• use any quote from the HueInk quote library;
• use any illustration from the HueInk illustration library;
• download and share your posts.

The Free plan is not unlimited: it includes one new post per day (00:00 to 24:00 UTC) made from a starter selection of the libraries, and no AI writing or drawing. Moving, resizing and downloading the posts you already have is not limited; the text and illustration of a Free post can be changed only on the day it was created.

2. What has a daily limit

Creating brand-new content with artificial intelligence uses computing power that costs us money every time. To keep HueInk fast and affordable, these actions have a daily limit per account, which depends on your plan:

• Each new draft counts as one: for example, asking for four quote drafts uses 4 texts, and a rewrite uses 1. Drafts that fail to come back are not counted.
• If your account has more than one plan, licence or add-on, the highest limit applies. Limits are not added together.
• Limits reset every day at 00:00 UTC. The app shows the reset time in your local time.
• Unused allowance does not carry over to the next day.
• When you reach a limit, everything else keeps working: you can still use the libraries, edit and download posts. The limited action becomes available again after the reset.
• We show your usage on the Account page and tell you when you are close to a limit.

We set these limits so that normal personal and professional use never reaches them.

3. Changes to the limits

• We may raise the limits at any time.
• We will not lower the limits below the values in section 2 for customers who bought a one-time licence or paid for a subscription period before the change, except where needed to stop abuse under section 4 or where a supplier we depend on changes in a way we cannot control. In that case we will give at least 30 days' notice by email and explain the reason.

4. What counts as abuse

Fair use means using HueInk yourself, through the app, to make posts. These are not fair use:

• sharing one account between several people, or reselling access to it (several brands or clients are covered by Studio or the Agency add-on);
• using scripts, bots, browser automation or any other way to generate content outside the normal app interface;
• generating content in bulk to build datasets, train AI models, or resell quotes or illustrations as stock content;
• trying to get around the limits, for example by creating several accounts with one licence, or several Free accounts or trials for one person.

5. What we do about abuse

We start with the gentlest measure that solves the problem:

1. a message in the app or by email explaining the issue;
2. a temporary slowdown or pause of AI generation on the account;
3. if abuse continues or is serious (for example automated scraping), suspension of AI generation or of the account, as described in the Terms of Service.

We never delete your saved posts without notice, and you can contact us at support@hueink.com if you think we made a mistake.
