How to find an illustration in the library
Every illustration in the library is free to use in your posts, as often as you like.
Steps
- Go to Illustrations.
- Pick a collection on the left, or type a word in the search box (for example teapot, rose or coat) and press Enter.
- Click an illustration to see it bigger.
- Click Start a post with it to create drafts that use this drawing.
What to expect
Create opens with your chosen illustration. Every draft you generate uses it.
The collections
- Fashion — women and men in clothes from the 1900s to the 1950s: hats, long coats, evening gowns, suits.
- Couples and Family & friends — people dancing, walking under one umbrella, laughing over coffee.
- Portraits & hands — faces in profile and hands holding a cup, a pen or a flower.
- Botanicals — flowers, branches, herbs, fruit and vegetables in the style of old engravings.
- Animals — cats, dogs, horses, birds and garden creatures.
- Still life — everyday objects: teapots, cups, books, keys, clocks, lamps, letters, umbrellas.
- Places and Sea & travel — houses, windows, staircases, moons, trains, boats and lighthouses.
- People at work — clerks, bakers, tailors, typists and other people busy at their jobs.
- Curiosities — robots, old computers and other playful drawings for tech and geek posts.
New drawings are added to the library over time.
