Make your first post
A quick tour: set up your profile, pick one of four drafts, and download it ready for Instagram.
Before you start
- A HueInk account (see How to sign in to HueInk).
Steps
- Sign in. The first time, HueInk asks three quick questions: your Instagram profile, the style you like, and then it shows a first post made for you. Click Open it in the editor to keep it, or skip ahead.
- To make another post, go to Create.
- Under Text, choose Write new for me (new AI writing) or Pick from the library (ready-made quotes).
- Choose a Style (poetic, funny, stoic…) and a Topic. With Write new for me you can also type a few words under Details.
- Choose a Format (Quote, Dialogue, Joke or Did you know?), the Language of the post, and where the Illustrations come from.
- Click Generate 4 drafts (or Find 4 library drafts in library mode). With library illustrations each draft shows its drawing straight away; with new AI art the drawing is made when you pick a draft.
- Click the draft you like to open it in the editor. Change the words, swap the drawing or add your signature.
- Click Download PNG to save the 1080 × 1350 picture, ready for Instagram. On a phone the button is Share or download.
Tip: quotes and drawings from the library never count towards any limit. Only brand-new AI writing and drawing has a daily limit.
What to expect
The picture is saved to your downloads (on a phone, you can share it straight to Instagram). The post is also kept in My posts, so you can edit it again later.
If something goes wrong
- The drafts take a long time — new AI drafts can take a few seconds. Library quotes appear right away.
- "No library quotes match these choices yet" — pick another topic or style, or switch to Write new for me.
