How to install HueInk on your phone
HueInk works in your phone's browser, and you can add it to your home screen so it opens like an app, full screen, with its own icon. There is nothing to download from an app store.
Before you start
- Your HueInk sign-in email (see How to sign in to HueInk).
On an iPhone or iPad
- Open Safari and go to hueink.com.
- Tap the Share button (the square with an arrow pointing up).
- Scroll down and tap Add to Home Screen.
- Tap Add.
On an Android phone
- Open Chrome and go to hueink.com.
- Tap the ⋮ menu in the top right corner.
- Tap Add to Home screen or Install app.
- Tap Install (or Add).
What to expect
A HueInk icon (a black ink drop) appears on your home screen. Tap it to open HueInk. The first time, sign in with your account's email (for a purchase, the one on your receipt).
Tip for iPhone: the home-screen app keeps its own sign-in, separate from Safari, and sign-in links from your email always open in Safari. The easiest way to sign in inside the app is with a password: set one first (see How to set or reset your password), then open the app and use Sign in with password.
If something goes wrong
- I don't see "Add to Home Screen" on iPhone — make sure you are in Safari, not inside another app's browser (such as Instagram or Gmail). Open the page in Safari first.
- The sign-in link opens in Safari instead of the app — that's how iPhones work. Sign in inside the app with a password instead (see the tip above).
