How to download your post
Download your finished post as an image, ready to upload to Instagram.
Before you start
- On the Free plan, downloads carry a small "Made with HueInk" line at the bottom, away from your signature. Paid plans and the Pro trial have no mark.
Steps
On a computer
- Open the post in Edit post.
- Click Download PNG. The image (1080 × 1350, Instagram portrait) is saved to your downloads.
- Click Copy caption and paste it into Instagram. The caption is ready-made (post text plus your Brand kit hashtags) and you can edit it first.
On a phone
- Open the post in Edit post.
- Tap Share or download at the bottom. Choose Instagram (or Save image) from your phone's share menu. Your caption is copied too, so you can paste it.
Story size
- With the Stories & Highlights Kit, click Download Story (9:16) for a 1080 × 1920 version.
What to expect
The image looks exactly like the preview: white paper, hand-lettered text, your drawing and signature.
If something goes wrong
- "Couldn't create the image" — the drawing may not have loaded. Pick another illustration or reload the page and try again.
- Nothing happens on a phone — your browser may not support sharing images; the post downloads instead. Check your downloads or photos.
