How to add your signature or logo to posts
Every post can carry a small signature in a bottom corner: your name in a handwritten signature font, text in an old-book typeface, or your own logo.
Before you start
- A profile. For a logo: a PNG, JPG, WebP, SVG or HEIC file up to 10 MB.
Steps
- Go to Brand kit.
- Under Signature, choose Handwritten, Old book or Your logo.
- For Handwritten, pick a Signature font. Each one shows your own signature text, so you can compare them.
- For text: type the Signature text. Press Enter to put it on two lines (for example your first name above your last name); the two lines sit close together, like a hand-written signature.
- For a logo: click Upload logo and choose the file.
- Under Corner, choose Left, Right or Opposite the art.
- Click Save brand kit.
What to expect
The preview shows the signature right away. Logos are turned into black ink to match the style of the posts. HueInk optimises every uploaded picture automatically: it removes hidden data such as location, resizes it and saves a small copy. The original file is not kept.
The signature keeps the same typeface in every language, so your feed looks like one brand. It is never drawn over the illustration or the text: if the chosen corner is taken by the drawing, HueInk uses the other corner, lifts the signature a little or makes the drawing slightly smaller. You can still change the signature, its corner, or hide it on a single post in Edit post; that choice is used everywhere the post appears (Today, Plan, My posts, downloads and ZIP files).
Signature fonts and your plan
- Free: 4 signature fonts.
- Creator and the Personal one-time licence: 13 fonts.
- Pro, Studio, the 7-day Pro trial and the Commercial one-time licence: all 34 fonts.
Fonts that aren't in your plan show a small Creator or Pro label. If your plan changes and your font is no longer included, your posts use the default signature font until you upgrade again or pick another one.
Tip: Dark logos on a light background work best.
If something goes wrong
- "This file is not an image we can read" — use PNG, JPG, WebP, SVG or HEIC.
- A HEIC photo from an iPhone is refused — on the iPhone, set Settings > Camera > Formats to Most Compatible, or export the photo as JPG.
- "That file is larger than 10 MB" — use a smaller file.
- "The … signature font isn't in your plan": pick a font without a label, or see the plans to unlock it.
- "Your logo couldn't load, so the image wasn't created" — check your connection and download again. HueInk does not create images without your logo.
