How to plan a whole month of posts
Plan my month drafts a post for every posting day of a month in one click, with a mix of styles and formats and the key dates of your country. Every post goes straight onto the calendar as Planned. You review and move them, then download them.
Before you start
- A HueInk account with at least one Instagram profile (see How to add an Instagram profile).
- Creator, Pro or Studio. On the Free plan the Plan screen shows what Plan my month does instead. On the Free plan you can try it with the 7-day Pro trial (see How to start your 7-day Pro trial).
Steps
- Go to Plan in the top menu.
- Use the arrows next to the month name to pick the month. Days that have already passed are skipped.
- Under Posts, choose 3 a week (Monday, Wednesday, Friday), 5 a week (Monday to Friday) or Daily.
- Under Style mix, select the styles you want (for example Poetic, Funny, Stoic). Under Formats, select Quotes, Dialogues, Jokes, Did you know? and, if you like, Series.
- Under Key dates, tick the dates you want a special post for. Click Change country to switch between Romania and an international list.
- Choose the Language. Pick Mix two languages (alternate) to alternate between two languages day by day. HueInk remembers your choice for this profile next time.
- Click Plan my month.
Tip: HueInk uses ready-made quotes and illustrations from the library first, so a full month stays well within your daily fair use. New texts are written only for what the library does not have, such as your key dates.
What to expect
After a few seconds the calendar fills with small previews of your posts. Each one shows a label: its style, Key date, or the part of a series (for example 2/4 · Love). A short message tells you how many posts came from the library and how many were written new.
- Click a post to open it in the editor.
- Drag a post to another day to move it. If that day already has a post, the two swap places. With the keyboard, focus a post and press Alt + arrow keys.
- Don't want a post? Click the small × on its day (on a phone: Remove from plan). The day becomes free and the post moves to My posts as a draft.
- Every post has one of three statuses, the same in Plan, Today and My posts: Draft (no date yet), Planned (on the calendar) and Posted. Posted days show a tick.
- Regenerate plan replaces the planned posts you have not edited or moved yet. Posts you changed and posted days stay. Fill empty days only adds posts to days that are still empty.
- Each drawing is used only once in a plan, as long as the library has enough drawings. Quotes and drawings on your calendar are not suggested again until 90 days after you post them.
- On a phone, the month shows as a list of days with a small preview of each post.
- With several profiles, Plan all profiles at once plans the same month for every profile, each with its own defaults.
If something goes wrong
- Some days stayed empty — the library had no more matching quotes and new writing reached its limit for the day. Click Fill empty days only later, or choose more styles or formats.
- "This month is over" — pick the current or a later month.
